About Me
Hi! My name is Ben Garrett. I am a landscape photographer based in Nottinghamshire. At the ripe old age of 13, my Mum and Dad bought me my first camera. This was just a point and shoot digital camera, nothing special some would say. For me, however, this tiny little camera was extremely special as it sparked a passion that is still going strong today, many years later.

My first ever photo taken back in 2008!

My first ever photograph (see above) was of a crate of oranges, taken at an open market whilst on holiday in France with my family. Now, this most certainly isn't what one would call a masterpiece (although, last time I checked, my Dad still had this as his PC background) but I will always view it as the most important photograph that I have ever taken because the steps I took to capture it were what got me hooked on the wonderful art that is photography. I have come a long way since then (see below) and it is safe to say that I am still just as passionate as I was when those oranges caught my eye!
